PLASTIC TUBES

Polyethylene tubes are a widely used modern packaging material. They offer a low production cost, personalised design and high resistance to wear during normal use. Plastic tubes hold their original shape well. The product therefore continues to look great throughout its use.

MATERIAL

• the primary material is polyethylene, which can be supplemented with additional layers
• various special plastic membranes are available

RECYCLED PLASTIC TUBES

• polyethylene is an easily and repeatedly recyclable material
• PCR tubes – tubes made from post-consumer recycled plastics (plastic bags, packaging or returnable bottles)
• PIR tubes – tubes made from post-industrial recycled material
• reduced-thickness tubes – the wall thickness can be reduced from the usual 500u to 350u – a significant reduction in material consumption
• low-profile caps with a diameter of 50 mm – minimising the energy demands of production and significantly reducing material consumption (Flip-Top closure for tubes with a diameter of 50 mm)
• sugarcane-based material - a RAW material that can be composted and broken down into soil and biohumus. It helps reduce the carbon footprint.

MULTILAYER TUBES

• multilayer plastic tubes with excellent resistance
• EVOH barrier to prevent migration of certain product components
• suitable for perishable products (cosmetics as well as food)

PRINTING TECHNIQUES AND SURFACE FINISHES for tubes

• for decoration you can use dry offset, silkscreen, flexo, digital, hot and cold stamping, 3D effect
• surface finishes: gloss, matte, soft touch

CAPS AND APPLICATORS

• a wide selection of applicators - lip gloss, cannula, pinpoint, ribbon tip and others
• custom cap colour and decoration, including metallisation
• the possibility of creating new closure moulds
• professional assistance with preparing print data

MOQ

• standard MOQ is 5,000 - 10,000 pcs
• MOQ of 2,500 pcs when choosing digital printing (tube diameter 25 - 50 mm)

• we will prepare a price quote based on the specific print data and decoration requirements for the tube
• of course, we can also provide pricing based on an approximate idea. In this case, however, the price will be refined further.

DELIVERY TIME AND TRANSPORT

• delivery time depends on the tube design and quantity
• typically within 4 weeks of approving the final print data with the Dafo printer
• transport is arranged by Dafo and priced according to the delivery address

LAMINATE TUBES

Although laminate is somewhat in decline, it remains popular among some customers. For this reason, Dafo includes the option of custom-made laminate tube production in its portfolio. Like polyethylene tubes, these tubes can include barriers for increased product protection.

CUSTOM TUBE SIZE

• for a single tube volume you have several options for its shape
• volume from approx. 25 ml to 300 ml
• base diameter 16 - 50 mm
• shell length according to the required volume
• ABL and PBL tube options available - with or without an aluminium layer (aluminium ensures the tube stays in its compressed state).

Since 2018 we have been representing the Ukrainian company Tubeplant on the Czech and Slovak markets. The current conflict in Ukraine has not fundamentally affected the company's operations. This partnership gives us the opportunity to:

• offer very favourable prices for aluminium tubes (including CLA and transport)
• MOQ for aluminium tubes from 5,000 or 10,000 pcs, depending on the tube type
• the possibility of production from 100% recycled material
• build a partnership with an environmentally minded partner

MATERIAL

• aluminium tubes have the highest barrier properties compared to other materials
• do not let light or UV rays through
• are resistant to heat and corrosion
• the option of an additional membrane - for even greater product protection
• the option of using a latex ring to prevent contents from seeping up
• the inner part contains a thin layer that prevents the product from coming into contact with the aluminium

RECYCLING AND ENVIRONMENT

• recycled material can be used to produce aluminium tubes
• aluminium is also an easily recyclable material
